Legal Terms and Conditions Wordpress Plugin

A conversion system for a WordPress consent plugin

Overview

Matyus Media needed to turn a single landing page for a WordPress T&C popup into a developer-trusted product site that actually converts.

The page wasn’t speaking to the primary user (devs), pricing lived in-page (hard to track intent), and technical details—DB proof strings, WooCommerce enforcement, resets/exports/email confirmations—weren’t clear. We reframed the story, built a focused funnel, fixed performance/a11y issues, and added docs/blog so the site earns trust and upgrades.

Our approach

Goals

  • Drive pricing views → purchases
  • Establish authority with clear, technical messaging
  • Set foundations for tracking, SEO, and iteration

Success markers

  • One primary action: View pricing
  • Clean GA4 events for pricing intent & plan selection
  • Performance guardrails + zero console errors + accessible defaults

What we shipped

  • Messaging & IA: Dev-first value prop (DB proof strings, Woo checkout, email confirmations, resets, CSV exports) + six key features.
  • Docs / Blog / Resources: docs, short dev posts, and clear links to support + .org.
  • SEO & Social: Webflow titles/meta per page, OG image set; optional JSON-LD (SoftwareApplication/FAQ).
  • Performance & A11y: Preconnect/preload strategy, all third-party JS deferred and scoped.

Visual system

  • Defined a complete brand identity—new logomark + wordmark, a cobalt-led palette, and a type pairing for product UI and code (sans + mono). Built a modular graphic language (shield/ledger motifs) that signals trust and developer expertise, plus a reusable component library (buttons, chips, pricing cards, code blocks, icons) with motion cues. Documented accessibility (AA+), and usage so the landing, docs, and blog stay cohesive.

Finished product

This project is a good example of systems thinking: not just a pretty landing page, but a conversion system that aligns content, code, and analytics around how developers evaluate tools. Prioritizing authority and clarity (DB proof strings, WooCommerce enforcement, resets, exports, email confirmations, dev hook) turned features into trust. Moving pricing to a dedicated page created a clean high-intent signal without adding friction to the story.

  • Clearer funnel: One primary action (“View pricing”) from homepage → /pricing → checkout.
  • Trackable intent: Distinct events for pricing views and plan selection to power retargeting and CRO.
  • Higher trust for devs: Technical copy (proof string, order refs, hooks) and a docs anchor increased credibility.
  • Technical health: No console errors, reduced render-blocking, accessible defaults (lang, focus, ARIA).
  • Scalable content: Blog + Docs enable ongoing SEO and product education without redesigns.
